Tara Mulholland is the senior social media producer for CNN’s Global Features team, based in Hong Kong. She is responsible for the production and publication of CNN’s global features and sponsored content across a range of social platforms as well as leading social training, planning and strategy.

Mulholland joined CNN in 2016 as a social producer in London. She became CNN’s social lead in Hong Kong in 2018, where she took part in social publishing, video editing and newsgathering, including reporting on her time in a coronavirus quarantine camp. Prior to CNN, she held similar digital and social media roles at Sky News.

Mulholland graduated from Oxford University with a BA in English Literature, and from City University with an MA in television journalism. She was awarded an MHP 30 to Watch award, and an Anjool Maldé Prize for Student Journalism.
