Sarah Moon is a Producer for CNN’s Los Angeles Bureau.
Moon first joined CNN in 2010 as an intern for the Entertainment Unit in New York. After covering celebrities on red carpets and working for HLN’s “Showbiz Tonight,” she transitioned into breaking news and worked as an Associate Producer for a variety of New York based shows including, CNN’s “New Day” and “CNN Tonight.”
She moved back to Los Angeles in 2016 and joined the assignment desk, where she newsgathers and writes stories for the West/Midwest region.
While Moon was born in South Korea, she grew up in Southern California and now calls Los Angeles home. She attended Waseda University in Tokyo and graduated from New York University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Linguistics.
