Pamela Boykoff is the Executive Editor of Quest Means Business, CNN International’s flagship business program.
She covers a wide range of topics, including macroeconomics, monetary policy and the regulation of e-commerce. In 2019, she received the prestigious Abe Fellowship for Journalists to examine the role government policies in Japan and Norway play in women’s participation in the workforce.

From 2008-2017 she was a field producer based in CNN’s Asia Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong. She covered many of the region’s most important stories including the devastating earthquake in Nepal, the rise of Hong Kong’s Umbrella Movement and the disappearance of flight MH370. She was a part of CNN’s award-winning team in the Philippines reporting on the aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan.

As a field producer, she tackled difficult stories in an extensive list of countries including China, Vietnam, Malaysia, India, the Philippines, France, and Ukraine. She was nominated for an Emmy in 2019 for her work on Fareed Zakaria GPS and in 2014 for coverage of Typhoon Haiyan. She received an Asian Television Award with correspondent Sara Sidner for their story about a young Bangladeshi boy who turned in a street gang that was brutalizing children and forcing them to beg.

Prior to moving to Hong Kong, she was based at CNN in London where she produced live news and business programming. She began her career in 2004 at the international desk in CNN’s Atlanta headquarters.

Pamela graduated Summa Cum Laude from Yale University with a degree in history.
