Prior to joining CNN, Reilly worked as a copy editor at the Seoul-based, English-language Korea JoongAng Daily. Reilly first joined CNN in 2021 as a news assistant for the network’s New York Bureau where he reported on politics, business, crime, and the courts for the U.S. Northeast and Midwest. He also briefly worked as a news writer for Bloomberg News.
Reilly is a French American journalist from Brooklyn, NY. He is fluent in English and French.
Reilly holds a B.A. in comparative literature from Kenyon College, an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and an M.A. from the University of Southern California.
