Gregory Krieg is a New York-based reporter at CNN Politics. His beat is the offbeat, writing and reporting on politics, culture, and political movements. He also produces interactive projects and feature video.
Before joining CNN in November 2015, he was a senior political reporter at Mic.com, where he helped lead the site’s coverage of the 2014 midterm elections and the start of the 2016 presidential primary season. Prior to that, Krieg was a reporter and producer for ABC News for eight years, covering everything from the 2008 and 2012 presidential races to the Iraq War, international soccer and the Greek debt crisis. He was also the lead producer for the ABC News on mtvU daily broadcasts.
A New York native, Krieg graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Journalism.
