• Trump transition: President-elect Donald Trump’s team has signed a key agreement with the White House unlocking transition briefings and activities after a lengthy delay. President Joe Biden’s team and the General Services Administration “repeatedly made the case” to Trump’s team to sign the transitions agreements starting in September.
• More Trump picks: The president-elect selected retired Gen. Keith Kellogg as special envoy for Ukraine and Russia. This comes as he announced a flurry of picks for his administration late Tuesday, including Jamieson Greer as his trade representative and Jim O’Neill as the deputy secretary of Health and Human Services. • Trump Cabinet picks targeted: The Trump-Vance transition team said Wednesday that several of Trump’s Cabinet nominees and appointees were targeted with “threats to their lives.” The FBI said it’s aware of the bomb threats and swatting incidents and is working with law enforcement partners.
