Netflix on Tuesday dropped a royally intriguing new trailer for its upcoming film “The King.”
In the Shakespeare adaptation, Timothée Chalamet stars as a reluctant young ruler who is forced to embrace a life he’s never had much interest in, after the death of his father leaves him assuming the throne.
Joel Edgerton, who also co-wrote the script, stars alongside him as aging, booze-loving knight John Falstaff.
Sean Harris, Ben Mendelsohn, Robert Pattinson and Lily-Rose Depp also star in the film from director David Michod.
“The King” will be in theaters for a limited run this fall before hitting Netflix.
It will hold its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival next week.
