Daniel Craig - Did you know quite how many famous faces director J.J. Abrams was able to cram into "The Force Awakens?" Yes, including James Bond. Or rather, Daniel Craig. After repeatedly denying he had any part in the film, it was revealed that Craig landed himself a cameo as a Stormtrooper. But not just any Stormtrooper: Craig featured as the dim-witted trooper that Rey mind-tricked into releasing her cuffs and leaving the door open for her escape. We're sure Bond would approve of Rey's savvy, but no so much Craig's.

Billie Lourd —
Thirty-eight years after her mother's debut into the "Star Wars" universe, Billy Lourd stepped into frame as Lieutenant Connix. Lourd, the daughter of Carrie Fisher, even donned a pair of buns in homage to Princess Leia.
Ewan McGregor —
It requires sharp ears, but Ewan McGregor can be heard in the tumult of Rey's flashback sequence in Maz Kanata's basement. In among Mark Hamill screaming "Noooo!" and Frank Oz's Yoda, McGregor as Obi-Wan tells Rey that "these are your first steps" as she picks up Luke's lightsaber.

Alec Guiness —
Through a bit of digital wizardry (or should that be Jedi mind tricks?) the late Alec Guiness is also present in the same line spoken by McGregor. According to Entertainment Weekly the film's producers surprised Abrams in the edit suite, telling the director that Obi-Wan calling out "Rey" was edited from a recording of Guiness saying "afraid."

Simon Pegg —
Following Abrams from the "Star Trek" franchise (where he played Scotty), Simon Pegg made no secret of his cameo in "The Force Awakens," playing Unkar Plutt, the Jakku junkyard dealer and one-time owner of the Millennium Falcon.

Bill Hader —
Among the more obscure roles, comedy king Bill Hader is credited as a "voice consultant" for droid BB-8, along with...

Ben Schwartz —
...Ben Schwartz of "Parks and rec" fame. The two funny men were tasked with bringing the plucky astromech to life, jamming with director J.J. Abrams along with a synthesizer, honing the character's now iconic 'bleeps' and 'bloops'.

Thomas Brodie-Sangster —
The former child star and Game of Thrones actor shows up as First Order Petty Officer Thanisson. And for anyone who thought his turn in "Love Actually" was grating, you're in luck -- it doesn't end well for the Petty Officer. Thanks Finn.

J.J. Abrams —
Not as prominent a cameo as the likes of Stanley Kubrick or Peter Jackson, Abrams nonetheless mucked in, singing in Huttese for "Jabba Flow," one of the tracks playing in Maz Kanata's bar.

Warwick Davis —
A "Star Wars" alum, having played Wicket the Ewok in "Return of the Jedi" as well as other characters in "The Phantom Menace," Davis returned as Wollivan, a patron of Maz Kanata's watering hole on Takodana.

Greg Grunberg —
A long-time collaborator with Abrams, Greg Grunberg reprises a working relationship that spans "Felicity," "Alias," "Lost," and "Heroes," as Resistance pilot Snap Wexley.

Ken Leung —
Another throwback to Abrams' earlier career, Ken Leung -- who you might remember as Miles Straume in "Lost" (pictured left) -- takes up the role of Resistance Admiral Statura.

Freema Agyeman —
The British actress, known for playing Martha Jones in the BBC series "Doctor Who" and spin-off show "Torchwood," can be spotted meeting a sticky end on Hosnian Prime as Starkiller Base targets planets belonging the New Republic.

Dame Harriet Walter —
The niece of screen legend Sir Christopher Lee, who played Count Dooku in the prequels, the similarly titled Dame Harriet kept the "Star Wars" legacy alive, patching up Chewbacca as Resistance member Dr Kalonia.

Yayan Ruhian —
Best known as 'Mad Dog' in "The Raid," Yayan Ruhian was drafted in by Abrams to appear as Tasu Leech, a member of the infamous space pirate gang Kanjiklub.

Iko Uwais —
For once Ruhian was battling on the same side as Iko Uwais, his nemesis from "The Raid," playing Razoo Qin-Fee, another member of the Kanijklub.

Michael Giacchino —
The composer behind the scores for "Alias" and "Lost," the Grammy-winning Giacchino reprised his relationship with Abrams as Stormtrooper FN-3181.

Nigel Godrich —
Radiohead producer and Atoms for Peace band member Nigel Godrich also donned the iconic helmet as Stormtrooper FN-9330.
