Eric Bradner is a national political reporter for CNN, covering the 2018 midterm elections and the 2020 Democratic presidential contest.
Bradner came to CNN in 2014 as a reporter on the digital politics team’s breaking news desk. Prior to CNN, he spent a year covering international trade at Politico. Bradner also spent more than four years as the Indiana Statehouse bureau chief for the Evansville Courier & Press, where he covered governors Mitch Daniels and Mike Pence as well as state-level campaigns.
Bradner grew up in Greenville, Indiana, and now lives in Washington. He’s a die-hard University of Louisville basketball and Chicago Cubs baseball fan, obsesses over the NBA and NFL drafts and free agency, and loves the Dave Matthews Band.
