Vivienne Tam: 30 years of iconic East-West style
From dressing First Lady Jill Biden and superstar Julia Roberts to designing iconic “qipao” dresses, afternoon teas and even laptops, Hong Kong-raised designer Vivienne Tam has done it all. For three decades, she has created artistic masterpieces firmly rooted in Eastern sensibility. Many of her designs have found a place in museums across the world, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. CNN's Kristie Lu Stout speaks to the iconic designer about her Eastern influence on the world of design and how it could foster inclusivity and acceptance as she enters a new decade.
