
Jamie Vardy and Leicester City are enjoying an incredible English Premier League season. Despite starting the season as one of the favorites to be relegated, the Foxes sit top of the table. Vardy has been in sensational form and recently set a new EPL record by scoring in 11 consecutive matches. He opened the scoring in Leicester's thrilling 2-1 win over reigning champion Chelsea on Monday.

Riyad Mahrez has also impressed during Leicester's stellar run. The tricky winger made it 2-0 with a wonderful goal early in the second half.

Chelsea, which has struggled this season despite strolling to the championship last term, improved as the game wore on -- grabbing a goal back through substitute Loic Remy.

It was a special night for Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri (left), who was replaced by Jose Mourinho (right) as Chelsea manager in 2004.

Chelsea piled on the pressure in the second half but Leicester held firm to move above Arsenal and to the top of the table. Defeat left Chelsea in 16th position, one point above the relegation zone.
