Problems for Pellegrini —
Manuel Pellegrini, the Manchester City manager, is under increasing pressure following his side's recent downturn in form. City was beaten 1-0 by Burnley last weekend and is six points behind leader Chelsea in the title race.

Champions —
Pellegrini led City to the Premier League title in his first year in charge. City won the league by two points from Liverpool.

Mancini magic —
Roberto Mancini led the club to the FA Cup in 2011 before winning the league title the following season -- the first time City had won the competition in 44 years.

Testing times —
Mancini signed a new five-year deal with the club in July 2012 but results dipped with rival Manchester United regaining the league title and City suffering a shock FA Cup final defeat by Wigan.

End of the road —
Mancini was sacked a year to the day after winning the league title. He departed in May 2013 and was replaced by Pellegrini. Mancini moved to Turkey where he coached Galatatasaray before taking charge of Inter MIlan in November 2014.
