Over 2.5 million people from more than 60 countries have attended EXIT Festival in Novi Sad, Serbia's second largest city, since it started in 2000. Famous musicians such as Duran Duran, Snoop Dogg, The Prodigy and Guns N' Roses have all performed at the annual event.

EXIT is known to be slightly different from other festival offerings. With 16 stages, the festival is located in an 18th century fortress overlooking the River Danube. Many consider EXIT to have one of the most beautiful festival venues in the world.

With a mission to bring about social change, EXIT initially started as a student movement fighting for democracy in light of the Milosevic regime in Serbia.

EXIT has also made a substantial contribution to the country outside of politics. Since it's inception, EXIT has contributed over $125 million to Serbia's economy through tourism.

Set out over four days, EXIT attracts up to 200,000 people each year. As a testament to its success, EXIT was awarded "Best Major European Festival" at the European Festival Awards earlier this year.
