Football solidarity —
Charity Culture Foot Solidaire (CFS) works to prevent the trafficking of young African football players. As many as 700 young footballers leave Cameroon each year, but what happens to them?

Academy expansion —
CSF has established links with nearly 100 academies in Cameroon that have signed up to its charter to ensure young football players are properly trained and protected. The charity is also working in Mali, Senegal, Morocco and Ghana.

Founding father —
CFS's founder is a former Cameroonian youth footballer Jean-Claude Mbvoumin. "We don't have too much money, but we want to expand if we can raise more funds," the 39-year-ol d Mbvoumin told CNN.

Soka Afrika —
Mbvoumin featured in a documentary film -- "Soka Afrika" -- that traced the fortunes of two footballers, South Africa's Kermit Romeo Erasmus and Cameroonian Julien Ndomo Sabo, as they left Africa for Europe in an attempt to pursue a professional career.

Kermit —
At the age of 18, Kermit is back now in South Africa with Supersport United. His current focus is getting back in to the Bafana national team.

Ndomo —
Cameroonian Julien Ndomo Sabo was "trafficked to Europe", though he did eventually sign for a European club -- Deportivo La Coruna. However his contract was terminated last year and he is now looking for a new club.

Mondial Montaigu —
The Mondial Montaigu youth tournament was first staged in 1973. That first final was watched by 3,500 spectators. The only player to have won both the nations and the club tournament at Montaigu is Cameroonian Salomon Olembe, who went on to win 64 caps for his country.

2013 Mondial Montaigu version —
France and Turkey shared a 2-2 draw in the opening match of the 2013 nations tournament.

Stars in the making —
In 2009, current France international Paul Pogba, pictured center, played in the Montaigu tournament for France.

Growing reputation —
Pogba subsequently joined Manchester United from Le Havre, before signing for Juventus in 2012. He is reportedly earning close to $1.5 million at Juventus. Despite being sent off in France's1-0 defeat by Spain in a World Cup qualifier on Tuesday, Pogba is establishing a reputation as one of Europe's top midfielders.
