Wade Payson-Denney is a video producer for the CNN Political Unit in Washington, where he works on long-form political reports and produces live segments with CNN Chief Political Analyst Gloria Borger.
Wade also worked extensively on CNN’s coverage of the 2014 midterm elections, where he co-wrote and co-edited the network’s 2014 Election Night in America Briefing Book.
Wade first joined CNN as an intern with the Political Unit during the summer of 2012. He later worked as a desk assistant for NBC News in Washington before returning to CNN as a news assistant in March 2014.
Wade grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico, just a few blocks away from the state capitol, and graduated from Bucknell University magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
