Catherine Treyz works as an assignment editor in the Washington bureau, focusing primarily on White House and Capitol Hill coverage.

Before CNN, Catherine worked on the assignment desk at Fox News Channel and as a fellow at National Journal. In 2014, she also spent some time in London, England researching visual journalism and the Olympics.

She is an honors graduate of Dartmouth College. There, she majored in English Literature and served as a multimedia editor for the campus newspaper.
