2017 Elections

A year into Donald Trump’s presidency, Democrats have already won major victories in the Virginia and New Jersey governor’s races. Now, the Democratic Party is trying to capture a Senate seat in the reliably Republican Deep South in a race that swings on whether GOP voters will turn out for Roy Moore — at Trump’s urging — despite the sexual assault allegations he faces. A win by Democrat Doug Jones would reduce the GOP’s Senate majority to 51-49.
