Joe Manchin of West Virginia announced on Monday his plans to introduce a resolution to censure President Donald Trump for the behavior outlined in the House-passed articles of impeachment. The resolution, which is not likely to advance in the GOP-controlled Senate, would be an alternative for some senators who did not want to vote to remove Trump from office.
