His mother posted that he may be paralyzed

CNN  —

Former “One Life to Live” actor Nathaniel Marston has been injured in a car crash, his mother said on Facebook.

His mother, Elizabeth Jackson, asked on Saturday for prayers for her son.

“He was in a car accident last night and is in the intensive care on life support,” the posting said. “Back and neck broken in several places. Other internal injuries. Please pray that he will recover and walk again.”

Marston played Michael McBain on “One Life to Live” from 2004 to 2007, after starring as Alonzo “Al” Holden on that show from 2001 to 2004.

He also appeared as Eddie Silva on “As the World Turns” and had small roles in several prime-time shows including “Blue Bloods” and “Law & Order: SVU” and films like “The Craft.”

His mother wrote that Marston was “sober according to cops” at the time of the accident in Reno, Nevada, but that his prognosis was not good.

“In all likely hood if he lives he will be paralyzed from the neck down and will not breathe without a ventilator machine,” she posted on Facebook. “Oh my God please give me strength.”
