The "Veedee" vibratory massager had two attachments. It is German and dates to between 1901 and 1930. Massage was considered an effective treatment for combating almost any ailment in the late 1800s, according to <a href="index.php?page=&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sciencemuseum.org.uk%2Fbroughttolife.aspx" target="_blank" target="_blank">the museum's History of Medicine website</a>.
