Toy Fair surfaces holograms, robotic animals, dolls for boys

This virtual Barbie lives in a box, talks to you, dances with you, teaches you yoga, even tells you the weather.

Hello Barbie Hologram is Mattel's (MAT) latest move to make Barbie even more lifelike. The 3D interactive Barbie is encased in a plastic pink container with lights at the bottom. She's active for 24 hours as long as the device stays plugged in.

Barbie's hologram is voice activated and kids can ask her to change her fashion and her skin tone. Barbie Hologram can even teach kids dance moves of their own.

Mattel said Hello Barbie Hologram is expected to be in stores in late fall, priced at under $300.
