With nearly 29 million passengers coming through its terminals each year, Seattle-Tacoma International is the 13th busiest airport in the country. Yet it still manages to get the vast majority of its flights in and out on time.

In 2012, it had the fourth best punctuality record of any major airport, with 86.9% of flights leaving the gate on time, a slight decline from 2011. Arrivals came in on schedule nearly 85% of the time, according to the Department of Transportation.
