Spirit Airlines charges for a printed boarding pass.

For technophobe travelers, extra fees abound.

Request a mailed copy of your itinerary from Virgin America, for example, and it will run you $20.

Spirit, meanwhile, currently charges $5 for any boarding pass printed by an airport agent. On April 16, that fee will go up to $10.
