- Name: William Magill, 53
- Place: Dayton, Ohio
I served almost 8 years in the Navy, and have worked a variety of other jobs over the years, ranging from driving a truck, to doing building maintenance, to working in a warehouse.
I lost my last job at the warehouse, when the company went out of business in March. Now, I have one more unemployment check left until the federal extended benefits run out.
After that, I will most likely lose my vehicle and possibly my home. I guess at the age of 53 I could always get up 3 hours early, and walk to work?
My credit is ruined and my savings are depleted. I would love to personally thank the United States Congress for their kind help for all of us unfortunate people who have been put out on the street through no fault of our own.
If not for my wife working at Wal-Mart, I would be living in a cardboard box down by the river.
