Federal health officials announced that at least 49 people in 10 states have become sick from E. coli food poisoning linked to McDonald’s Quarter Pounder hamburgers. Ten people were hospitalized and one person has died after becoming sick. Infections were reported between September 27th and October 11th in states including Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Oregon, Utah, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
