The Spring-Summer 2017 menswear show season has begun
Over the next few weeks press and buyers will travel to Florence, Milan and Paris to view new collections
Another fashion season has begun, but this time it’s the men who get to strut their stuff.
The Spring-Summer 2017 menswear collections will be shown to press and buyers over the next few weeks, first in London, then Florence for Pitti Uomo, and on to Milan, Paris and New York.
Britain’s capital – with its rich style history – has arguably been at the forefront of the surge in popularity of menswear since launching its dedicated fashion week, London Collections: Men in 2012.

Despite these lingering questions, the fashion industry was out in full force this weekend in London, showing off the best of the city’s style. From sharp tailoring to streetwear, modern fashion tribes were easy to spot.
In this specially commissioned photo essay, photographer Trisha Ward turns her lens on the biannual fashion event, capturing style from all angles – from the catwalk to the sidewalk.
